We leave for overseas in 28 days!

What a blessing it has been to be refreshed and equipped in the beautiful State of Colorado! Over the last 3 weeks we have learned about healthy teams, cross cultural communication, sabbath rest, spiritual warfare, expectations, multicultural teams, stewardship and so much more! We feel like we have a better idea of what to expect as well as better equipped to learn the language and culture. We can't wait to start sharing the good news in the heart language of our future friends!

We can hardly believe we leave in just 4 weeks. Wow! We are so thankful for the many dear friends and family who have made it possible for us to be fully funded as well as provide all kinds of odds and ends that we need before we leave.

Thankfully, our documents for the next part of our visa process have come in! Tomorrow we will mail these documents to D.C. for the embassy to add their stamp of approval. Then they'll mail them back to us and on August 9th, Robb will bring them to the consolate to get our actual visas. Please pray for everything to go smoothly with no problems or errors. That nothing gets lost or misplaced and that these documents will get in the hands of people who will give us favor and a speedy visa. We so appreciate and need your prayers!

In a week we'll leave for TN and FL to visit our families and say goodbye.  We would appreciate your prayers for our time with family to be special and that our Father would multiply our time and give us all a joy in His plans.  We are really looking forward to seeing our family soon and we trust the Father will give us a good internet connection overseas so that we can Skype often.

We leave on August 14th and right now some folks over there are working on getting us an apartment. Once we land we'll need to clean, get walls painted, fix/add flooring, buy furniture, buy all kitchen supplies, etc.  It's crazy that we are literally starting from scratch, we'll have to buy everything from towels, to bowls, to rugs etc. Good thing I love decorating and shopping--what a treat! We hope we can get our apartment move-in-able within 4 weeks, but, we've been told to expect that things take a lot longer there then they do here. So, here's to patience and flexibility! :)
