Wow! We now have plane tickets for the 28th of August! Monthly support keeps trickling in as many are generously and most often sacrificially giving to the Lord in this way. Tomorrow Robb heads downtown to the South African consulate in Chicago to start our visa application process. We have been running around as the Lord is showing us we don't have certain items that we thought we did! Praise the Lord He has made us mindful of these items as we prayerfully hope to go downtown to drop stuff off and then 5 business days later go back to pick them up (and not have to go other times because of missing documents needed for the visas).
Packing is going strong and steady as we are collecting birthday presents and decorations for our A.J. as she will celebrate her 7th birthday a month after we arrive and collecting some simple winter items as the winter nights we will be arriving to are quite chilly.
We are so enjoying our time with our dear friends and hosts, Rob and Suzanne, and our family is thankful for good health and content hearts. We hope to write more just before we take off in 2 weeks, but until then, please know that we love you and can't thank you enough for your prayers and partnership. Thank you Lord for our united team!
