Thanks for thinking of us!

What an amazing week Dad gave us in South Africa!  We can't thank you enough for thinking of us. Dad gave us good flights, safety and good health.  Our days were full and rich as we explored both life and min in South Africa.  The girls thrived and Dad opened the door for us to move in this direction: we are in the process of stepping through the door!  Thanks for asking Him for clarity and guidance.  We are excited about this exciting opportunity to work out of our gifting. We are in the process of nailing down a timeline for rapping up our role in Asia and moving to Africa.  We are so thankful that we still get to serve in Asia for a short time, a part of our hearts will always be here, and who knows, the way Dad works, we aren't counting our time in Asia as over!

We visited a preschool in a squatter camp run by a cool building.

The children were absolutely beautiful and precious!

Robb and I just couldn't get enough of these little ones. They were such a joy to our hearts!

Here is AJ with a bunch of new friends.  All the girls really warmed up to these kids and enjoyed playing with them.

Then we had the privilege to serve them a simple meal. Most likely the only meal they got that day. 

It was amazing to be a part of Dad's work as a family like that.  The cool building that started this preschool reaches out to these kids and is in the process of planting another building in another community like theirs.  We can't get over that we will get to be a part of something that empowers people to help themselves and others both physically and spiritually!

 

All the kids in each classroom waited until everyone had a plate.  Then they all thanked Dad for their meal.  We are still basking in the blessings of being with those precious ones that day.

We are so looking forward to our new home: Africa.  While we were away we visited a squatter camp, a township, a building that GAiN is assisting to build an orphanage, a safe home full of kids that have dangerous home situations, met local leaders and experienced joy and heartbreak with all that they face.  But Dad is there! He is helping, blessing, rescuing and building!  In our next letter we will share some of the specific things Robb will be able to head up and the opportunities we will partake in over there. Thanks for being on this journey with us.  This is something we would've never expected, but oh how rich and wonderful are His plans!
