South Africa!

After being here for 6 months we have the opportunity to explore a new work that would use Robb's nursing skills and other skills he has learned while here.  This Saturday our family will be taking a one week vision trip to South Africa!  It is a work with our company that helps the poor, needy and orphaned while meeting their spiritual and physical needs.  It's been an exciting adventure to see Dad open the doors for us and preparing our family for a shift in min and location.  We have several requests to be thinking about while we are away this coming week:

• For continued guidance as we take this trip to make a final decision to move to South Africa or stay in Asia.
• For safety and good health for our family.
• That our days there will be obviously orchestrated by Dad.  That every opportunity would continue to clearly open the door for this move or suddenly shut the door, but a clear direction either way.
• For wisdom for each moment, especially with the girls and tending to their hearts during what may be another big transition.
• Praise:  our whole family is excited about this opportunity and what Dad is leading us toward.
• Praise:  our families, leadership in Asia, leadership in Africa and partners have all been extremely supportive of this direction in our lives from Dad.

Thanks so much for thinking of us!  We can't wait to share pics and videos of our time when we get back.

Want to see me and the girls make some Asian dumplings with the help of our friend? Check out the pics and video below!

First, some dough circles and a mixture of pork, spices and green veggies.

A teaspoon of meat mixture goes on the dough circle.

Then fold and pinch the edges.

Look at all those dumplings!

Boil some water and throw in the dumplings for 5 minutes.

And there you have it, a hot plate of dumplings, yum!

I am determined to learn how to cook a few more dishes that our family really loves.  It's really fun learning how to cook like the locals!
